For CVJM Bayern, Burg Wernfels is much more than a historic site. It stands for living faith, community, and commitment. Its strong walls remind us that God gives us security for a faith that unites and inspires. Under the motto "A Mighty Fortress Is Our God", we want to carry this message into today's world with our collection.

CVJM Bayern is part of the world's largest Christian youth organization. Under its umbrella, over 100 local branches operate in spreading the good news. In 1925, CVJM Bayern purchased Burg Wernfels, and today it is a youth hostel, a place of blessing, and home for many CVJM members, and beyond.
